Becky Bassham is a health educator, who, after working as a medical imaging specialist seeing sickness and disease studying the brain from the inside out, has committed her life to helping people to become healthier by preventative tactics.
She is a board certified Neurofeedback Practitioner (BCN) through the BCIA, a licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), holds a BS degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Health promotions from CSUF, and completed a fellowship in Special Imaging (CT and MRI) at Loma Linda University.
Becky has worked in the field of health and wellness for over 25 years with experience to include employee health, facilitating lifestyle change programs, and promoting community health education and outreach through radio, television, email news campaigns, and establishing an organic produce distribution system in the desert of Arizona. After discovering the power and healing of neurofeedback within her own family, she completed curricula at the New Mind Academy, Brain Science International and the EEG Institute in Woodland Hills, CA. She also completed didactic training in Quantitative EEG and Z-Score Training and sLORETA Neurofeedback at Stress Therapy Solutions in Cleveland, Ohio. She has mentored under a distinguished list of professionals including Sue and Siegfried Othmer, Dr. Victoria Ibric, Chuck Davis, Dr. Tom Collura, Dr. Richard, Powell, Tom Brownback, Jay Gunkelman, and John Demos.
Specializing in Brain Fitness, Becky uses qEEG Brain Mapping and 3D sLORETA Imaging to look at what the brain is doing. Then EEG Biofeedback (neurofeedback) training is applied, along with life and wellness coaching which includes work on nutrition, exercise, goal setting, mindfulness, stress management and time management for a holistic, alternative approach to improve cognitive function.
Becky is a member of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research and the Biofeedback Society of California.
